What We Do

The Prayer Shawl Ministry creates handmade shawls, blankets, bonnets, and other prayerfully crafted items that bring comfort, encouragement, and a reminder of God’s love to those experiencing life’s sacred moments.

Through crochet, knitting, sewing, and fellowship, this ministry helps wrap members of our parish and community in prayer, care, and compassion during baptisms, weddings, illness, healing, grief, and other times of need.

Whether you are experienced, just learning, or simply feel called to serve through your talents and creativity, we warmly invite you to be part of this ministry.

Meeting Information

The ministry regularly shares donated yarn, crochet hooks, knitting needles, fleece materials, and other supplies with members who would like to participate. Through the generosity of our members and supporters, materials are often available for those who need help getting started. You can also support the ministry by donating crocheted, knitted, or sewn items, yarn, supplies, fleece materials, or no-sew fleece blankets that can be shared with those in need of comfort, encouragement, and care.

When: Second Saturday of every month, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
