Laetare Sunday
This Sunday is the midpoint of Lent
Laetare is Latin which means rejoice
It is a moment of joy and hope as we are getting close to Easter
It should remind us of the victory of Christ over sin and death.
In today’s reading—-John 9:1-41
The Gospel today reminds us that Jesus’ has the power to heal.
Jesus is the light of the world.
Jesus healing the blind man was a way for God to show His glory.
We see the love and grace of God when Jesus healed the blind man.
