Gen Now
The Gen Now team serves to create a safe, joyful environment that helps each child develop a meaningful relationship with Jesus and creates a faith community that is like a family.
We aim to provide programs children are eager to attend during Mass that allow the parents to worship uninterrupted.
We believe children’s joy and faith inspires and deepens their parent’s faith and relationship with God.
J.A.M. Children’s Liturgy
We invite your child(ren) to join us during the Readings during 9:00am Mass at St Augustine on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.
Starting in October we will invite your child(ren) to join us every Sunday during the Readings during 9:00am Mass at St Augustine.
Children’s Liturgy is for children in Pre-K to Fifth grade.
Children will leave Church, accompanied by mentors, near the beginning of Mass and will be led over to the St. Augustine Hall, where they will hear the Bible stories at their level with music, prayer, and activities. The children will return to Church after the readings, during the collection and bringing up the gifts.
Walking With Jesus
This is the faith formation program for children who do not attend catholic elementary school and are in grades first to fifth.
We meet on the first and third Sundays of the month from 9:15am to 10:15am at the Ascension campus (previously the school building).
Mentors will work with the children to teach them how God loves them, how they can love others, and how to form a lasting friendship with Jesus.
Break Away
The faith formation program is on the first and third Sundays of the month from 9:15am to 10:15am at the Ascension campus (previously the school building). The program is for youth that are not in Catholic school and are in middle school, grades sixth to eighth.
The youth will have fellowship, opening prayer, engaging activities, core content with testimonies and small group discussions.
The youth will grow in a personal relationship with Christ and the faith family community.
