Music at the Catholic Community of
Ascension and St Augustine
We currently feature a mixture of traditional and contemporary music. This diversity opens for us the possibility of helping parishioners grow in their faith. At the Church of Ascension, the 4pm Mass on Saturday evening and the 8:15am Mass on Sunday are traditional in style of music. The 10:30am at Ascension church on Sunday is now traditional music.
At St. Augustine church, the 5pm on Saturday evening is traditional music. The Sunday Masses beginning at 7:30am is a non-music Mass. The 9am, 10:30am and 12:15pm are contemporary style of music and attract people who are not currently worshipping.
Choir Rehearshals
Is the Lord Calling you to unite your vocal talent in service to Him with the CCASTA choir?
If so, listen to Him and heed His call.
The choir rehearsal resumes Wednesday, September 4th at 7pm at Ascension Church.

Adult Choir
Joining our parish choir is a way to deepen your relationship with God while meeting people who also love music. Our adult choir contributes to the worship of God through well-prepared song.
Cantors are welcome to audition to lead the congregation in song-prayer to enhance the beauty of the liturgy. Ages from high school up are welcome to try out. Must be available to sing two or three times per month at weekend Masses. Contact Byron Huffman at [email protected]
